Enhancing Your Soda Experience, One Bubble at a Time

The Why

Soda Helper emerged from the frustration of a dedicated soda enthusiast who was tired of the constant hassle of purchasing refill canisters for his soda maker and was dissatisfied with the available alternatives.

My goal was to connect my water carbonator, specifically an Aarke Carbonator3, to a large CO2 tank that I could conveniently refill at a local brewery store. Unfortunately, the hose adapters on the market made this nearly impossible, as they exited from the bottom of the device, making it unstable without awkwardly propping it up. This led to many users leaving the back off of their Soda Stream devices, resulting in a messy and unappealing solution for the kitchen.

It wasn’t just about the cost; frequently trading canisters at the store became a real inconvenience. However, I discovered that a 5-pound CO2 canister refill from a local brewery costs roughly the same as a single canister refill while providing the equivalent of nearly five small canisters.

The How

As luck would have it my 12-year-old daughter, with my help, had stumbled upon a product for a golf simulator that transformed our office into a small 3D print farm.  We’d been doing this for about a year and had really figured out how to make repeatable high quality 3d printed parts.   

My daughter was turning a 3D printed part into a genuine business, and I couldn’t let her outshine me, so I dedicated time to designing bases for some of the most sought-after products on the market, even going as far as applying for patents for my designs.

We experimented with various approaches and ultimately decided on the products you see here on our site. All of our offerings are developed and produced in Colorado, utilizing high-quality, durable materials sourced from a California company, and printed on advanced industrial 3D printers. Each product has undergone extensive testing to ensure it provides a reliable solution.
